Testimonials:
Occasionally something comes along that improves your life in a permanent kind of way. Nicole Williams' Restorative Yoga classes have done this for me. I no longer have the chronic aches and pains I used to experience, and I have a better understanding of how to restore my body and well-being after strenuous exercise. I feel very fortunate that I just happened upon one of Nicole's restorative classes in a yoga program a few years ago. I now attend classes at her studio Sundogyoga.
Nicole is a truly unique instructor. Her classes are varied, unpredictable and interesting, and she has an impressive ability to keep the class engaged and focused during the whole length of the class, sometimes for as long as two hours. Her understanding of anatomy clearly informs the structure of her classes. It makes her capably sensitive to individual differences (age, injuries, vulnerabilities, etc.) so that she can and does offer alternative ways to handle a pose. She is a pro. She integrates poses, props (sandbags, bolsters, blocks, and straps), instruction, humor, and personal assistance to ensure that the time spent in class really does restore the mind and body. She has an appreciative following for good reason. I have been attending Nicole's classes for several years and cannot imagine a future time without them. Jean T
Sundogyoga is a revelation. I have been practicing restorative yoga for ten years in California and Hawaii and have never found a teacher as skilled in this path. Her guidance and vocal cues are spot on for assisting me in relaxing deeper. Her knowledge of the body and it's healing pathways are exquisite. I'm 66 years thanks to this class. I highly recommend this yoga teacher and her classes and methods for staying flexible as the years go by. Also for healing injuries and arthritis- Mary Kelly
Restorative yoga with Nicole for the past 18 months has given me a great deal of ease with chronic pain related to surgery and arthritis. I come away from every class refreshed and with a sense of well being. I am extremely grateful that Nicole provides such a wonderful opportunity for her students - Jane Merrow
Working as an LMT and having an active lifestyle demands a high degree of self-care. I find the therapeutic effects of the Sundog Yoga restorative practice to be just what my body and nervous system need in order to recharge, recuperate, relax and reboot. After practice, I feel like all channels are open and flowing. It has become an indespensible aspect of my life. I'm grateful to have found Nicole, her restorative magic and masterful grasp of yoga and the body. -Maribel Ramirez
“I have been in Nicole’s yoga sessions for at least 8 years. Nicole in her personal love for yoga, continues to study, educate herself, shares and brings her all to each and every class she instructs, even welcoming student inputs. I have been to many years of a variety of other yoga instruction around the world literally that don’t even resemble the care, thought and experience that I receive with Nicole. Her use of a variety of yoga aids add another depth level to yoga practice. Listening to verbal instructions in the serene inviroment Nicole has created ends up like a meditative session for me, where the entire other mental part of your life is put on hold. I enjoy increased flexibility physically, lengthening, tone, core strength, a sense of peace, deep breathing that I am literally addicted to. I didn’t realized how unhealthy, undernourished I was phyiscally, mentally and spiritually before I started Nicole’s practices and disciplines.......they are a life changer”-Loretta Gresham
Brilliant! Nicole's knowledge of anatomy and physiology is unmatched by any yoga instructor I have worked with. She fully explains the range of benefits her students can expect from each posture. Nicole is very hands-on. Each student receives individual attention and adjustments as needed throughout the duration of the class. During her class, Nicole's attention is solely on the participants and their individual needs. Outside of class, Nicole continues to assist and share her knowledge and expertise. I couldn't ask for more from a yoga instructor- Margaret Washburn
"Never thought I would have such a relaxing and wonderful experience using sandbags in a yoga class! Nicole makes it fun while showing how you can transform your poses with ease while placing sandbags on the body. Nice restorative class with a different twist. Really enjoy this class."

"Yoga has been a daily part of my life for about 23 years and Nicole has been a part of my ongoing yoga journey for the past 7 years. I have learned to arrive into the flow of each class with the knowledge that I will receive loving care and clear instruction with the added help of props, laughter and gentle hands on guidance. Nicole always explains the benefits of each pose while offering a variety of ways to complete each task to fit all participants and their body needs. Whether we are working on restorative poses, bone building poses,or stress relief poses, I know that I will leave feeling regenerated and/or relaxed and ready to meet the demands of the outside world and for that I am truly grateful!"

I've practiced yoga of all kinds for over 30 years in Boulder and Bend, and I've participated in the classes of 4 other yoga teachers at ACB. I like one very much, and respect the other three, but none brings the WHY we are doing what we are doing with the thoroughness, clarity and humor Nicole brings. Her quirky, relaxed, non-patronizing manner puts students at ease. Her sessions provide full body work without haste or discomfort. Without "yoga babble" she encourages practice of yoga principles such as use of the breath, being in the moment, etc. She relates each position not only to muscles but to organs and body systems that are affected, enhancing our understanding of the value of each thing we do. Her style is unique and very effective..."
