Structural Extension

With Structural Extension the focus is to gently lengthen and rehabilitate connective tissue that forms around your joints. This tones the muscles supporting the spine & opens the joints between your vertebrae by use of traction which improves posture by relieving pressure in spinal nerves. 

Traction relieves the pain caused by compression of the spinal discs and nerves between your vertebrae. The postures we practice reverse the direction in which gravity normally passes through your abdominal organs. The reversal stretches and tones your organs, helping them remain resilient and supple. The postures increase oxygenation and blood flow to brain which helps strengthen your  immune system. To strengthen your respiratory system, we use simple calibrated breathing techniques which stimulates lungs and body energy generation.  The focus is on performing postures that Re-Establish Your Body's Natural Structural Alignment. The length of time in postures range from 1 - 5 minutes which Rebalances Your Structure with the support of props.

In all of our classes you are provided with  . . .  Sandbags   Bolsters   Chairs (for bone therapy)   Quick Release Buckle Straps   Blocks   Blankets   Yoga Mat ( If desired you may bring Your Own Mat )

You just have to show up wearing something that is comfortable for You. . .
